Rising Strong: Embracing Mistakes and Growing

In life, we're all bound to stumble and fall, But it's how we rise that matters most of all, The way we view our setbacks and strife, Can either hold us back or help us thrive. With a growth mindset, we embrace the chance, To learn and grow from every circumstance, We see each failure as a stepping stone, To become the best version of our own. Mistakes aren't something to be feared, They're opportunities to persevere, To build our resilience and grit, And be better than we were bit by bit. When we face a challenge or a test, We don't give up or settle for less, We approach it with a curious mind, And the belief that we can find. A solution that will help us succeed, A new skill or insight we need, We're not afraid to take a risk, To try new things and persist. For in the end, it's not about winning or losing, It's about the journey and the choosing, To grow and learn from every mistake, And be the best version of ourselves that we can make.

Embracing Our True Selves on Women's Day

The trending picture of a woman with eight hands, Is not a reality, it's not how she stands. On this Women's Day, let's take a pause, And shatter some myths, and take a new cause We need not do it all, we need not be perfect, We're human after all, and we have our own effect, Let's accept that we have only two hands, And our men lend us theirs, to make us stand. It's smart to ask for help, to seek some support, With household and professional work, let's not distort, Our abilities by trying to do it all alone, Let's reach out for help, let's make it known. For we are not weak, nor are we frail, We are strong, and we do prevail, But we don't have to be superwomen, We can be ourselves, and still be stunning. So let's embrace our true selves, And let go of societal shelves, Let's ask for help, let's seek support, And let's celebrate the women of every sort.

Seven years since Thatha left

It's been seven years since he left us, Thatha, the walking encyclopedia, Reading and expanding knowledge till the end, A scholar who inspired us all. He was more than just a grandpa, He was a mentor, guide and a bestfriend, A wise sage who shared his insights, And filled our lives with wisdom. I remember the day he left us, As he gave me a flying kiss, Waving goodbye with a smile on his face, Little did we know it was his last goodbye. His presence still lingers on, In the pages of books he loved to read, And in the memories we hold dear, Of a kind soul who left us too soon. Thatha, we miss you dearly, And on this seventh anniversary, We remember your legacy, Of knowledge, love, and grace.

Nature's Ways

N ature can be cruel and unfair, A truth that can't be denied, As the cuckoo baby cheats and steals, Leaving the host mummy's eggs to die. The host works hard to build her nest, To raise her family with care, But the cuckoo's sly and cunning ways, Leave her babies with little to spare. The cuckoo's hatchling, strong and bold, Kills the host's eggs, one by one, Leaving the host with nothing to hold, Her babies gone, her work undone. Nature can be harsh and unkind, With no regard for right or wrong, But we must try to understand, This is just how nature belongs. It's not just the cuckoo, it's all around Nature can be cruel and harsh From the lions hunting down the deer that bound To the storm destroying cities in a flash But we can't hate nature, it's a part of our lives We must learn to accept and understand For in the end, it's all about survival and thrives Nature is just being nature, As it is what is demand
